10/10 Stars – An Unforgettable Experience of Culture and Serenity 🌟 Staying at this natural spring hotel in Japan was truly a dream. From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by the warmth of Japanese hospitality. The service was impeccable — every staff member was kind, attentive, and made me feel completely at ease. The natural spring itself was breathtaking — soaking in the waters surrounded by serene nature brought a deep sense of relaxation and peace of mind. It wasn’t just a stay; it was a cultural experience. The traditional aesthetics, the care in every detail, and the atmosphere of calm were all incredible. Everything was flawless. The food, the ambiance, the service — all contributed to one of the most rejuvenating experiences of my life. I left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of returning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a true escape into beauty, culture, and tranquility. 🌿✨

The staff are excellent- always trying to help , although they did not have a Japanese/English translator- we were able to communicate using Google translate. The onset is a lovely oasis of hot and cold baths. Free noodles in the evening, ice cream and bottles of water were appreciated. Laundry is available as well. The location is absolutely perfect for Mara park and the JR train line. Starbucks is across the street, in the tourist information centre, where there is luggage depot , free walking tours and English translators. Alongside is a grocery store- fridge is in the room- and a great noodle restaurant and bakery-

The hotel is really well located since its just in front of the JR strain station and at the beginning of the commercial street to end up 10 minutes after to Nara deer park. The all tatami style of the hotel gives a traditional vibes to the place, I wish I stayed longer to enjoy the onsen but I only stayed one night which was short to enjoy all the hotel has to offer. The buffet Japanese style breakfast is a most do in this place. Staff are really nice and helpful, there is at least 5 or 6 people at the front desk, so waiting time is just few seconds before you can check in.

- Absolutely wonderful onsen experience: For the internationals who don't know how this works: You have to go completely naked. Men and women are separated. Tattoos and phones are strictly forbidden. Per person you get two 15cm stickers to cover up the tattoos for free. The onsen is open from 3pm to 10am so you can go all night if you want. In sum, the onsen experience was the highlight of our Japan trip. 100% recommend! - Overall beautiful ryokan-style premium experience with all the commodities you might need - Free massage chairs that actually do a pretty good job

The hotel is conveniently located across the train station so when you arrive, you only have to cross the street. There is a Starbucks at the train station, which helps with morning coffees if you do not want to go for the typical Japanese breakfast at the hotel. As usual in Japan, the rooms are small, but we were able to separate the two single beds and put the bedside table between them. Everything is provided shampoo and so on. At 9:30 there is free Ramen and drinks at the restaurant. The onsen was a great experience with this chilly weather.
